I’m Matt. I roast coffee, but more than that—I’m trying to build something real. Something that stands for the people who came before me and the ones who are still grinding every day just to hold it together.

My dad was a gardener. He didn’t talk much about love, but he showed it in how hard he worked. He didn’t have a soft start. He didn’t have a head start. He had grit, calloused hands, and a need to survive. He built something out of nothing, not for glory, but so we didn’t have to start from scratch. And because of that, I got to stand on a stronger foundation.

I wasn’t handed this business—I built it, one roast at a time, one bag at a time. But I never forget that I had a layer under me that he never had. This is about honoring those who carried more than their share, who didn’t have the luxury of chasing a dream, but made it possible for someone like me to.

Roasting became my reset. My therapy. My way to process the grind of life and still create something meaningful. I didn’t come from this world of specialty coffee, but I came into it with intention.
